Former Ada Athletics Players
Dean Bowyer- 1960's
Dean Bowyer grew up in Ada and went on to be a standout three sport athlete (football, basketball, baseball) at Mayville (ND) State University, graduating in 1966. After a brief professional baseball stint with the Baltimore Orioles organization, he entered the teaching/ coaching field. He has been the head coach at Minnesota State, Mankato for 26 years where he has accumulated over 800 victories, 12th on the all-time Division II list. He was inducted into the Mayville State Athletic Hall of Fame in 1984.
Darin Loe- 1980's
Darin was a key member of the 1986 and 1989 A's squads that qualified for the Minnesota State Amateur Tournament. He was a standout athlete at Norman County West High School and went on to a record-setting tenure at Valley City (ND) State Unversity as a quarterback and pitcher. He was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 1989 and played professional baseball for three years. He then entered the coaching ranks and served as head coach at Missouri Valley College and Baker (KS) University before becoming head coach at Northwest Missouri State (Maryville, MO) in 2000.
Steve Olson- 1980's
Steve is an Ada native and went on to an outstanding baseball career at Valley City (ND) State University. He was named an NAIA All-American and conference MVP in 1987. He entered the coaching field and spent seven years as the head baseball coach of Jamestown (ND) College before accepting the same position at the University of Minnesota-Crookston in 1999. He currently serves as defensive line coach for the Eagles football squad.
Darin Everson- 1980's & 1990's
Darin was a multi-sport athlete at Ada High School before taking his talents to Valley City (ND) State University to play baseball and football. He eventually transferred to Mayville (ND) State University where he became an All-American catcher in 1992 and 1993. He also served as the quarterback of the football team. He spent time with the Montreal Expos, Boston Red Sox and Pittsburgh Pirates organizations. He was a standout player in the Northern League for the Madison Black Wolf and Winnipeg Goldeyes before retiring in 1999. Since retiring, he has served as head coach of the Wisconsin Woodchucks of the Northwoods League, was a teacher and coach in the Madison, WI area, and in 2007 was named manager for the Florida Marlins' minor league team in the Class A New York-Penn League.
Others:
Joel Barta- had a brief stint with the A's in the early 1990's. He played collegiately at Lake Region Community College of Devil's Lake, ND, Bellevue College (NE) and graduated from Mayville (ND) State. He was later hired to start up the baseball program at Northland College in Ashland, WI in 2000. He has been the  head coach of the Wisconsin Woodchucks, a collegiate wood bat summer league. He became head baseball coach at Texas-Brownsville in 2006 and later resigned to become Ridgewater (Willmar MN) Community College baseball coach starting in 2009..

Kelley Kessler: teaches and coaches in Williston, ND.
Dave Peterson: teaches and coaches in Waubun, MN.

Al Hanson: teaches and coaches at Bertha-Hewitt, MN school.

Mike Kolness: is principal for Ada-Borup Schools.
Jim Everson: retired from teaching at Ada-Borup; lives in Velva, ND.
Brady Schwab: teaches and coaches in Springfield, MN; plays for amateur baseball for Springfield.
Matt Fetsch: Athletic Director in Grafton, ND.
Rob Pederson: principal at Eden Valley-Watkins, MN; playe for the Watkins Clippers Class C state                          championship amateur baseball team.
Josh McMenamy: works in the financial services industry in Fargo, ND.
Dallas Everson: lives and works in the Twin Cities.
Jamie Aanenson: lives and works in the Twin Cities; rumored to having resorted to playing slop-                               pitch softball
Eric Hoffman: finished college baseball career at the Univ.of Northern Iowa; currently play for the   Ada A's again and loving it.

Tyler Church: principal in Wadena, MN.
Mark Doherty: works in pharmaceutical sales in Grand Forks, ND.
